QuartetNick's Standards Quartet has been Nick's vehicle for his instrumental and vocal arrangements. Past shows include features with singers including Jessica Radcliffe, Nel Begley, Goda Bumbliauskaitė plus working as a musical director with top UK male jazz singer James Hudson. James, Nick and pianist Joe Hill have been arranging the music for James' upcoming album, which also features Jack Tustin on double bass and Luke Tomlinson on drums. In December 2019, Nick put on a "Christmas Songbook" show with James at Pizza Express Dean St, which sold out within a month and was recorded for a live album (Out later 2020). James and Nick have another Christmas Songbook show booked in for Christmas 2020. Nick and James' current project is the "Nat King Cole Songbook", debuted at Wembley's Troubadour Theatre earlier this year, with a London gig currently being booked. |
